Every player who steps into an OJHL dressing room is chasing an opportunity to become more — as a player, a teammate, and a young man. The OJHL Foundation exists to help make that journey possible, providing support, education, wellness resources, and opportunities that extend far beyond the game itself. There are many ways you can help us make a difference.
Make a Donation
Every contribution helps strengthen the programs and initiatives that support OJHL players throughout their journey. Your donation directly impacts player wellness, education, financial assistance, scholarships, and personal development opportunities across the league. Because when we invest in our players, we’re investing in the future of our communities.
Sponsor a Bursary or Scholarship
Create an opportunity that changes a player’s future. By committing a minimum of $500 annually for five years, you can establish a bursary or scholarship that reflects the values and priorities most important to you or your organization. You help define the criteria, and the OJHL Foundation will manage the application and selection process alongside you. Whether it’s supporting academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, or personal growth, your investment helps open doors for the next generation.
Host or Support a Fundraiser
Great things happen when communities come together. If you have an idea for a fundraiser—or already operate an event—you can direct all or a portion of the proceeds to the OJHL Foundation. You may also choose to support a specific bursary or scholarship initiative. Every event, every contribution, and every effort helps create new opportunities for our players.
Provide Placement or Internship Opportunities
Experience matters. Today’s players are preparing for more than hockey. By offering placement or internship opportunities within your organization, you help players gain valuable real-world experience, develop professional skills, and build confidence for the next stage of their lives and careers. We’ll connect interested players with your opportunity and help identify candidates who can make an impact.
Hire an OJHL Player
Help our players continue their development away from the rink. If your organization has summer or seasonal employment opportunities available, we’ll help connect you with OJHL players looking to gain work experience during the off-season. These opportunities provide valuable life skills, professional development, and experiences that help prepare them for long-term success.
